Encore De Funk are a 7 piece collective from the North West. Brought together by their mutual love for Soul/Funk and Acid Jazz, the group decided to embark on project to create original interpretations of contemporary classics, adding in some untouched masterpieces along the way.

Chris Tavener is a satirical singer-songwriter, known for his mischievously witty lyrics, well-crafted songwriting and a vintage sound.
Having performed over 230 times in 2015, Chris is one of the most hard-working musicians in the North West. His latest EP sold in the hundreds of copies and a new release for 2016 has received acclaim from Steve Lamacq of BBC 6 Music.
Originally from Northwich in Cheshire, Chris began writing and producing demo albums at age 17. Rather than write about himself, he wrote songs that featured interesting characters or ironic takes on social behaviour. Five albums later he recorded his latest studio EP that’s seen him perform from Edinburgh to London. In March to April 2016 he took on a nationwide tour visiting 10 cities over 6 weeks. He launched his new EP “i’m sorrdy bi’m drunnk” in Manchester on 19th May..... more info
